PortfolioXL is a portfolio tracking add-in for Microsoft Excel. It allows you to create a portfolio of stocks which can be updated intraday. You specify certain tickers, the purchase price and date, and PortfolioXL monitors the price value of your portfolio and your transaction history. It also displays the current value of your stocks.
PortfolioXL downloads free delayed stock, index and options quotes from Yahoo! Finance. You can download data from markets in over 50 countries worldwide. The software automatically generates transaction history in a separate worksheet named [Portfolio Name]_Transactions.
