PF-Merge for MS SQL Server, MS Access, and other databases.

Only Acrobat enables your existing paper forms to look identical to its print/screen versions (viewable by the free Acrobat Reader). You may be using Acrobat-based forms but is not aware of it, e.g. IRS 1040. PF-Merge merges your database's records with your Acrobat forms set; resulting in as many form sets as the number of records of your database, automatically.  It can automatically email/fax/encrypt each generated Acrobat form. It is analogous to mail merge in a word processor software, except the source document is not a  word processor's page, but an Acrobat form with one or more pages. This set of pages makes up a form set. See free utilities below. .

PF-Merge uses a simple 3-step process, which you can complete within a minute for simple to intermediate merges. Then click the "Start Merge" button to  generate the result. The time to complete the generation depends on the complexity of your form and the number of records to be merged. PF-Merge has multilingual capabilities.

Wow! What does the above mean?
Well,  let us use an example to illustrate. You are a tax accountant and you are about to  prepare IRS-1040 forms for 1,000 of your clients. That IRS's form set has 2 pages  and the task will, therefore, entail typing into 2,000 forms with your clients'  data. If done manually, this may take weeks and human errors may occur   inadvertently.

However, if you already have your clients' data in a database, you need spend only a few  minutes with PF-Merge, then click the "Start Merge" button, take an  afternoon break, and the 2,000 forms will all be generated for you. What an effortless but productive day you will get!

3-step process?
The  steps are as follows:

1. Create your Acrobat form as the source document. Using the above example, you already  have an online Acrobat IRS-1040 form created, which you can download from IRS's  web site.
2. Login  to your database containing the records to merge. PF-Merge supports most of the major databases, e.g. Microsoft Access, MS SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, DB2 and Informix. It works with Dbase, Filemaker, MySQL, FoxPro, Paradox, Excel, Outlook, xml, Goldmine, Act2000, Lotus-123 and Text files.

3. Create a data-mapping matrix between each form's field and the database's field. PF-Merge provides a simple drag-and-drop approach  to map creation. You can create a simple map in seconds by dragging  database's field to form's field.

Once you completed step #3, you click a button to  generate the merge file, which opens automatically in Acrobat. You can save and print it.
