VERY FLEXIBLE: There is no limit on the number of projects within a single Fast Track repository. Each of these projects can have its own request types and their own request life cycles. Each project can have its own severity, component, phase, release and staff attributes. EASY TO USE: Has an interface that resembles MS Outlook and provides different screens for change management, inventory and release management. Processing requests is achieved by using the request tool bar. Users can customize screens by hiding or modifying the size or order of columns. All these changes are automatically saved so that users can always view their screens the way they want them. Usage is simplified further by Fast Track's "Auto Assignment", "Auto Prompt" and "Auto Validate" features. SCALES UP FOR YOUR NEEDS: For small installations, less than 10,000 requests, you can use the MS Access repository. For larger projects and projects that require distributed access you can make use of the SQL Server repository. EASY TO ADMINISTER: Fast Track uses the latest install tools and technology. The install process is fully automated and will also create the Fast Track repository and will automatically configure the clients to connect to this repository. A standard installation includes life cycles for enhancement requests, defect reports and issues. EASY TO CONFIGURE: All configuration can be performed through a single screen. The administrator can add new projects and then drill down to configure all project specific attributes. If you decide to use the default life cycles that are shipped with Fast Track then all that you have to do is add projects and register users DRILL DOWN: A number of screens provide a drill down facility to view hierarchical information. This provides easy navigation through complex related data. Integrates with Visual SourceSafe, provides inventory management and release management features.
